Challenges of Relocation
Moving to a new country, or city can be both exciting and overwhelming.

(?) Are you struggling to feel at home?
> These transitions often deeply influence our sense of identity, belonging, and how we see the world.
> I offer an expat-oriented approach helping you to navigate the unique challenges of relocation. Together, we will explore the feelings of disconnection, nostalgia, and the process of adapting to the new environment.

Cultural sensitivity
Experiencing life in different parts of Serbia, India, Ireland, and China has deepened my cultural awareness and sensitivity, which shapes my therapeutic approach
> I tailor my therapeutic techniques to align with your cultural values and am committed to creating an inclusive space where clients of all ethnicities, religions, genders, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds feel respected, understood and valued.
> Recognizing that cultural identity is deeply personal and ever-evolving, I welcome feedback on how I can better support your unique needs and ensure our work together is respectful and meaningful.
safe space
(!) This is a safe and non-judgmental place for everyone including the LGBT community.
> Everything shared in our therapy room is 100% confidential and private, and will never leave our therapy room.
> The only person I discuss cases with is my long-term supervisor, but even then we don’t use names.
> I will do my best to create a psychologically safe space to discuss anything brought to the session.
my approach
> Trauma-focused
> Compassionate
> Cross-cultural
> Expat-centered
> Psychodynamic
While I am mostly drawn to the psychodynamic theories, my approach to therapy is integrative, covering techniques and ideas from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and psychoanalysis.
about me
[not the fun stuff]
I started my psychological journey at the Singidunum University in Belgrade, Serbia, in 2014. I completed my BA in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences (ICHAS) in 2022. In 2024 I obtained a Higher Diploma in Psychology from Dublin Business School. I completed a study titled Exploring the Dating Experiences of the LGBT Communities in Serbia and Ireland: Online vs. Offline.
I lived in different parts of Serbia, India, Ireland and China and have been working with expats trying to feel at home, and people planning life-changing moves.
I completed placements and internships as an educational psychologist at the Elementary School “Ćirilo i Metodije” and as an HR consultant in psychometric testing at the Assessment Systems Adria in Belgrade, Serbia. I completed a placement at the STRIVE program in Newmarket, Co. Cork, Ireland providing psychological support to neurodiverse youth, and volunteered as a counsellor and psychotherapist with people affected by suicidal thoughts and behaviours at Save Our Sons and Daughters (SOSAD), located in Dundalk, Ireland.
I am a member of the Special Interest Group in Ethnic Minorities (PSI). Since August 2022 I have been working with PsyMentalHealth located in Naas, Ireland. I am accredited by the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP) and The Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). I attend personal psychoanalysis and work under the supervision of Dr Mou Sultana.
